Heels are one of those things that I have a love-hate relationship with.
On one hand, they are:
Fashionable,
Feminine,
Height boosters,
Confidence lifters, and
Calf-muscle builders.
But on the other hand, they are:
Awful (and awkward) to walk in,
Cause problems for your feet, and
Tripping hazards.
Sometimes, if a heel fits me just right, I feel like I’m on top of the world. But if they are slippery on the bottom and your feet slide out of them, then every step is filled with trepidation!
Still, I can’t get the image of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn (both style icons of mine) strutting their stuff in glamorous heels. I kind of try to imitate their gracefulness (hehe) but somehow I feel less like a lady and more like a six-year-old trying on her mother’s shoes. But less cute.
Can anyone relate?
Until next time,
Caroline
